Mad River Park Recreational Fields
Park Rules
Please Note: Use of the road adjacent to Mad River Park Recreation Fields is not permitted. Please use the parking lot for parking and dropping off. If the lot is full, please park on Airport Rd.
-No driving or parking on the fields
-No dogs, alcohol, fires, fireworks, firearms or camping unless otherwise permitted
-Respect other users
-Non-registered users (pick-up games) must yield to registered users
-All trash/gear must be removed after events
-Do not move equipment without prior authorization
-Golfing is not permitted
-Overnight parking in the parking lot is not permitted
Mad River Park Recreational Fields
Managed by the Mad River Valley Recreation District, the fields are surrounded by a walking path with benches, the ten acres of open space provide community fields for soccer, lacrosse, and other field sports. With its roofed pavilion which is available for rental, the Mad River Recreation Fields are a hub for community activity. The fields were purchased in 2017 with the help of a grant from the Vermont Department of Forests, Parks and Recreation, support from the towns of Fayston, Moretown, Waitsfield, and Warren as well as individual and business donations.
