In the spring, the Mad River Valley Soccer Association provides a competitive soccer experience for players from the Mad River Valley and Waterbury areas. The Spring Travel league participates in the Vermont Soccer League. All youth from U10 through U16 age levels living within the geographic area, including the towns of Waterbury and Duxbury, are eligible to participate in the Travel League.

MRVSA participates in the Vermont Soccer League through the Vermont Soccer Association (VSA). VSA is a US Youth Soccer organization that follows all USYS regulations. Teams are based on a player’s birth year. Teams typically practice at Mad River Park with two practices per week. The first game of the season is held in the first weekend in May and the last game typically is in mid-June.

Fall Recreational League

In the fall, MRVSA provides a youth soccer experience for students in Pre-K through 6th grade, from the Mad River Valley. Teams are based on grade level and participate in intra- and inter-league play on a regularly scheduled seasonal basis. The program focuses on skills development in a non-competitive environment. Matches are instructional and promote equal playing time for all participants.

Teams typically practice at Mad River Park with two practices per week. The first games will be held the weekend after Labor Day and the last games are held the last weekend of October.
